Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at roz@southlouisianamediation.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Co-parent mediation is designed for two major groups.

  1. Parents that have seperated and have different opinions on how to raise their child or how to interpret child custody orders.
  2. Parents who have remarried and are dealing with the challenges of merging families and lifestyles.

Mediation is NOT therapy and it is not designed for long-term use. Sessions are designed to deal with specific conflicts and create solutions for that conflict. Yes, we can address multiple conflicts, but they all must be done with solutions in mind.

We are not therapists and will not offer counselling services. We are not attorneys and will not offer legal guidance. We are here to help design a solution-based plan that all parties can agree to. We want to help you avoid costly legal and litigation fees.

To schedule an appointment or get more information, contact roz@southlouisianamediation.com. Be sure to state what service you are looking for and if it is a family or business matter. Once discussed, a questionnaire will be sent, all parties involved must fill out and submit prior to session.

All sessions cap at two hours. If a resolution is not determined within this two hours, despondents may have to return for a follow up session.
